All About Me

Dr. Lisa Ryan

Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant
Doctor of Nursing Practice
Family Nurse Practitioner

Hi, I’m Lisa! I am a Mom to a beautiful boy and a wife to an amazing supportive husband. Why choose me, you may ask. Well, a little about my professional self. I am a doctorate prepared family nurse practitioner who has spent the past few years specializing in pediatrics. That may seem like a lot of words but let me break it down for you. I am a family nurse practitioner which means I can take care of anyone at any age (pediatrics to geriatrics). I spent my nurse practitioner career up until this point specializing in pediatrics. Typically, you only need a master’s degree to become a nurse practitioner, but I decided to get my doctorate because it gave me the foundation to evaluate and create positive change. So here I am, creating change in your infant or toddler’s sleep. I also have extensive lactation knowledge. While I will not be providing lactation services at this time, I understand how to effectively nurse a baby while providing a sleep foundation without affecting milk supply. More important than my degrees is my amazing beautiful son, who, with my help, has “mastered” sleep. You can choose me because you like the name of my business. You can choose me because someone recommended me. You can choose me because I was the first business to come up when you searched. However you arrived here with me, I want you to know that you are in the hands of an evidence based, knowledgeable, certified sleep consultant who is incredibly passionate about sleep. And I am excited to share that with you! I may have a degree that allows to me to treat medically, however that is not what I will be doing here. Everything I do will be completely non-medical and I ask that you follow up regularly with your child's pediatrician or other qualified medical provider.
